This jewellery chest (Number 1088) in burr elm has three layers - a large shallow space at the bottom and then four trays in ripple sycamore. The whole of the inside is lined with cotton velvet and one of the trays is set out with ring holders. The wooden hinges are doweled with handmade elm pegs.
