Whether this is really a 'desk' box is debatable. It's probably a bit too large for a couple of pens and a few paper clips. On the other hand it's certainly more attractive than a computer terminal! An odds and ends box would maybe be a better description or perhaps a keepsake box. I think you should decide!
This chest (Number 1086) in burr elm is leather lined with one tray in ripple sycamore. The wooden hinges are doweled with handmade elm pegs.
